Red Ochre news
We've done a lot this year.
National and international training.
In 2015 Red Ochre staf delivered
training and support in Armenia, Bangladesh, China, Greece, Indonesia,
Latvia, Lithuania, Morocco, Pakistan, Spain, Vietnam, and of course in
the UK. In total we trained 3,323 entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs.
Innovating for growth programme
In collaboration with the
British Library IP Centre we supported over 250 businesses on the
Innovating for growth programme. Of those 70% have increased their
turnover or taken on extra staff after one year of completing the
programme. Collectively those businesses have generated more than £14m in
Gross Value Added for London.
BitC arc Programme reaches 1000 jobs created!
The arc Programme, run by
Business in the Community, has reached a milestone. The social
enterprises that the programme supports have collectively created 1,000
jobs in the Olympic host boroughs.
Crowdfunding at the RSA
Red Ochre is proud to have
supported RSA projects securing over £140,000 through the RSA Kickstarter
crowdfunding platform for social change ventures.
Get Seville
G.E.T (Green Experience and
Training) Seville, was an EU funded scheme, run by Red Ochre in London
and 3Si in Seville. We placed 60 young people at the beginning of their
careers in the green economy in internships in Andalucía, Spain.
