We had a beautiful to visit @joyofsoundJOS. We learnt a lot about genuine equality, inclusion and the power of music, leadership and instruments designed for everyone. In our debrief it was clear that our #socent @SocEntGlobal #BCDice Indonesian group loved it!

Heritage Horizon Awards: grants of £5 million and over now available.

 

£15m fund to bring disused buildings into community ownership opens from Transforming Places Through Heritage Fund.

 

Nesta Challenges puts up £1m to tackle social isolation through technology.

 

A £10m funding scheme to support rural communities across England wanting to set up renewable energy projects in their area.

 

Discounted housing grant scheme unveiled. Volunteer groups can apply for Government grants of £10,000 to £50,000 to support plans to provide discounted homes for younger people and families in need of housing.

 

£5 million fund launched for supporting unpaid carers. A new Carers Innovation Fund has been launched to help finance innovative ways of supporting unpaid carers. The purpose of the government fund is to identify and promote creative and innovative models that look beyond statutory services.

   

£1.6m is still available to boost community share offers from the Community Shares Booster Programme
