Award ceremony

“We are delighted. This award is a real recognition of our commitment and devotion to what we do and it’s extremely encouraging to us as a small business. I believe our strength is flexibility, the ability to really tune in to our delegates’ needs and to empathize with them. As a former PA, I understand their issues and can really relate”, says Paul Pennant, the founder, owner and the lead trainer of Today’s PA. “I tend to fine-tune the original plan of a course just to give the training that extra personal touch and ensure that the real needs of the delegates are met. I talk to each group of students, and find out their expectations and professional issues they are facing, rather than stick to a standard course programme each time. The feedback from our delegates is very high because we care”, says Paul Pennant.
Paul started the company in 2006 with a clear vision: to take his own experiences as a PA, office manager and business director and create training courses that meet the challenging real-world needs and aspirations of modern business professionals.
With the rapid advances in technology Today’s PA has specialised in helping PAs to use technology to help them save time. Paul Pennant covers all Microsoft Office products at all levels. He has been invited to train PAs at Microsoft.
“Most people believe that learning technologies are quite boring. My goal is to make what can seem to be the dullest of subjects interesting. When after my Microsoft courses delegates claim they not only learnt dozens of useful tips but also had great fun I know I’ve reached my goal”, says Paul Pennant.
From the outset, the company has been building an impressive client roster, which reads like a who’s who of globally-recognised brands and other high-profile organisations. He has trained PAs from Selfridges, BBC, BMW, London 2012, Vodafone, Lego, UK Ministry of Defence, Barclays Bank, Carphone Warehouse, Credit Suisse and Government of the Virgin Islands. Course attendees not only come to London from all over the UK, but abroad as well. Today‘s PA has trained PAs from over 4000 companies in 80 countries.
