Impact and evaluation

The Red Ochre delivery team has extensive experience in social impact measurement. We have provided training and support to others in monitoring, evaluation and impact, ranging from one-to-one support sessions to individual social entrepreneurs to training workshops with groups from a wide range of organisations.  We also have developed a number of written materials, reports, case studies, toolkits, best practice guides and other publications around social impact.

Red Ochre offers a number of services in this area.

  • Training and support
  • Social impact evaluation
  • Publications
  • Bespoke consultancy

Examples of work in this area

We work with individuals, organisations and networks, and have recently:

  • Provided support in all areas of monitoring and evaluation to 12 organisations funded by the Community Development Foundation
  • Worked with West Sussex County Council and their stakeholders to completely re-shape the way in which they organise and account for impact in their services
  • Carried out an evaluation for Westminster Volunteer Centre, producing an accessible, engaging and useful report
  • Worked with WVC to invigorate and improve their staff’s ability to understand and measure their impact

We are increasingly interested in how individuals collect, analyse and process information internally and how they then communicate it, as a way of understanding social impact measurement.
