For anyone wanting to get to know different ways of doing business, we would love to welcome you for a daily immersion into our work.
We’ll design a programme for you where you get to become part of Red Ochre in order to learn and experience first hand useful things to take back to your organisation. We call this an ‘attachment’ and it normally lasts 3 days-2weeks maximum. Typically this involves:
- Accompanying Red Ochre staff to meetings and trainings to get insider knowledge and contribute to the discussion.
- Visiting leading social enterprises in your area of interest to have direct conversations with the people who make them happen.
- Getting involved in events, practical visits and meetings to actively work on issues that you are interested in.
- Having your own desk, chair, wifi and a home base to feel part of the team and to give you time to follow up meetings and connections in your own way.
- Having your own time and space in the programme to follow up connections and make your own meetings and if you are from outside the UK, time for exploring London.
We promise you’ll get:
- Contacts, ideas, networks and connections that come from being part of the day to day operations of a leading social enterprise development organisation.
- A true sense of how a variety of organisations and individuals in the sector operate
- A grounded reality of how you can make changes in the field that is of use to you, e.g. resource use, innovation, looking after each other or simply a better understanding of social enterprise in general.
We find that our Social Enterprise Attachment is useful for:
- Corporate managers in the UK who want to know more about social enterprise
- International clients who are working on building the social enterprise sector in their own country
- Charity leaders who want to develop their organisation back home.
“The week … was indeed inspirational. The Red Ochre team put together a programme that gave a substantive overview of the Social Enterprise sector in London through a mix of visits, workshops and briefings. I was overwhelmed with the learning that took place.”
Saad Halawani, British Council Jerusalem
“I have … very pleasant memories of London! I would like to thank you very much for giving me this opportunity to better understand what a social enterprise is; to obtain a deeper insight on various business spheres, such as consultancy, leadership, management and others; to observe and participate in different training, as well as to explore London and simply have a good time! And of course, for meeting very pleasant people.”
Shade Danielyan, Armenia
