Friend of Red Ochre, Xenia Demetriou of eye4change, hosts the opening of Differences in Common tonight.
The exhibition of photographs by 100 local people is an outcome of a series of community photowalks, facilitated by eye4change, in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
The work focuses on what new and existing communities have in common, while recognising the value of diversity. People from a range of backgrounds, abilities and experiences came together with each employing the camera as a tool for creative expression, storytelling and a means to connect, share and increase a sense of belonging.
The project was supported by The National Lottery Community Fund.
The venue is:
The Heritage Gallery, University of Greenwich, Queen Anne Court, Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, SE10 9LS
