Five new places have been added to the Fast Growth programme as part of UnLtd’s partnership with the banking service Coutts to develop innovative ways to support the UK’s ageing population. The Solutions for an Ageing Society Awards Programme is a pilot which will provide a total of 19 Awards, which range from £5,000 to £20,000 and are open to social entrepreneurs at different stages of growth who are developing innovative solutions to support the UK’s ageing population.

The five awards available as part of the Fast Growth programme will provide £20K grant funding and 12 months’ business support to entrepreneurs designed to solve social problems.

The remaining 14 Awards are available under the Do It Awards programme, which provides strategic support and up to £5000 and the Build It Awards which provides up to £15,000.

The Solutions for an Ageing Society Awards Programme is open to applicants from England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Important dates

The deadline for submitting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Fast Growth is 9am on Monday 16th February 2015. We will review your EOI and if we think you are suitable for the application will get in touch to explain the rest of the application process and send you an application form. The final deadline to submit the form is 9am on Monday 2nd March 2015.

The deadline for submitting an Expression of Interest for the Do It Awards and Build It Awards is 24th April 2015.
