Visually this is a great summary of an SROI. I am, however, struggling to find the time scale that the return occurs over. Without a time scale it is impossible to calculate a Rate of Return.
This is a typical issue with SROI studies. Financial proxies and savings accrued to the public purse are calculated, which suggests a return – social or financial.
As any investor worth their salt will tell you this doesn’t help in investment or social investment decision making. In order to compare different scenarios a rate of return is needed.
