In early April Uday ran a masterclass for social entrepreneurs in Singapore in partnership with the Social Innovation Park, Singapore. Themed around recent trends in social enterprise the interactive workshop introduced the audience to the Social Business Model Canvas that Red Ochre has created to help create sustainable models for social economy organisations.

The Masterclass also introduced lean start up methodologies that can be used for social enterprises. The event was attended by over 50 people and generated lots of passion, discussion and practical advice. The bank hosting the event had to kick us out as the audience were so engrossed that we did not leave when we were supposed to.
Singapore too is enjoying a growth in social enterprise activity and there are a number of organisations and hubs that have started to scale this activity up.
