We’ve just run two more social enterprise tours, showcasing some of the best of the sector in London and further afield.
As part of the Socifaction project, we took 18 Latvian and Lithuanian social entrepreneurs to social enterprises working with older people, environmental education, homelessness, craft and startup support. The week long tour helped delegates get a true sense of what is happening in social enterprises, inspiration, ideas, energy and some highly useful contacts for the future.
Soon after that we ran another of our Young Changemakers tours for the British Council China and China Youth Development Foundation, hosting 10 social entrepreneur students from universities across China. We matched their interests with equivalent social enterprises in the UK and over themed days visited organisations working with healthy eating, food growing, upcycling, bicycles, unemployment and more.
Our thanks to all the organisations we visited. Could your group benefit from experiencing social enterprise in action?
